Crunch Time!

The store opens tomorrow and there were many last minute preparations going on at the store tonight.  Johnny and Manny and I went to get a few last minute things set up and the energy in that place was electric!  Everyone buzzing around, creative juices flowing!  Johnny and Manny probably didn't share the feelings with me, but hey, it's called Mamas Happy, right!?

The frames in this barn door display are handcrafted out of reclaimed barnwood.
My neighbor, Patrick has a ton of cool stuff made out of reclaimed barnwood.

This candy corn gift basket is the perfect hostess gift to bring to a Halloween Party!

The hot new fall color "Jalepeno" goes perfect with the smoky colored glass top of this table.

I just love this Halloween Display.  My piece is the cute little monster lamp on top of the table.

Another piece with that awesome Jalepeno color!  This could be used as a night
stand, a telphone stand or an entryway table.

Game Table - My favorite piece yet!

I just finished this project yesterday and I'm so excited about it!  This is my favorite piece I've done so far!  I painted a sewing table, and attached a old Carom game board to the top, to make an adorable table, complete with checkers game pieces!  I found two black chairs that had very cool backs and reupholstered the seats with fabric from a plaid flannel skirt.  I've always loved tartan plaid, so I really like how these turned out.

Labor of Love

When I saw this table, I was drawn to the base, as it was just so different than anything I had seen.  This baby is solid oak, and is quite heavy. (Just ask my husband!) Refinishing this table, was definately a labor of love and now it's mama hopes it finds a good home!
